Dr Asim Kumar Kandar is Senior eye surgeon trained from AIIMS, NEW DELHI and expert in cataract, refractive surgery and corneal transplant. He has done many difficult surgeries in his 20-plus ophthalmology career. He has received best surgery video award at Delhi Ophthalmologist Conference and Chennai ophthalmologist conference (TNOA). He has done first hyperopic toric ICL in India. He has described use of fibrin glue in post traumatic corneal laceration. He has also done Coo no’s ring and toric IOL implant for post DALK traumatic subluxated cataract with high astigmatism published in IJO. He is also member of various international, national and local ophthalmologist societies. He has performed live surgery in various conferences.
