Dr. Elankumaran Pasupathi is a distinguished Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgeon with extensive experience in clinical practice, research, and academic leadership. A postgraduate from the RP Centre, AIIMS Delhi, he currently serves as Medical Director of Navashakthi Nethralaya, Bangalore Which was started as a clinic in 2004. Navashakthi Nethralaya has grown into a stand alone super specialty eye hospital which caters to all aspects of ophthalmology under one roof .

He has held multiple leadership roles in professional societies, contributing significantly to scientific programs and organizational growth at the Bangalore Ophthalmic Society, Karnataka Ophthalmic Society, and All India Ophthalmic Society.

Dr. Elankumaran Pasupathi has been recognized with Gold Medals from the Bombay Ophthalmic Academy and IIRSI (2023) for his contributions to ophthalmology. He has also been instrumental in organizing numerous national and state-level conferences, including BOS Summit (2011–2025) and KOSCON (multiple editions).

Beyond his professional commitments, he is passionate about chess and creative writing.
